Who keeps track of the bigger technology decisions?
Day-to-day support can keep work moving, while risks, renewals and improvement plans still need management attention. If responsibilities are scattered, important actions can remain open without a clear decision. Technology Advisory establishes a regular cycle to review the relevant information, confirm owners and agree the next priorities.
What we help you oversee
- Technology priorities and a practical roadmap.
- Security findings, evidence gaps and action ownership.
- Supplier responsibilities and service issues.
- Supplied spending and renewal information.
- Important operating contacts and continuity questions.
- Selected AI and digital-improvement decisions.
What you receive each month
A scheduled leadership meeting and nominated provider/contact discussion, a concise management brief, updated risk/action and decision records, and a rolling 90-day roadmap. Bounded advisory questions are handled within the agreed monthly capacity. The reference package includes up to eight direct advisory hours, covering meetings, review and outputs. Implementation, helpdesk and continuous monitoring are separately scoped.
Who it suits
Australian businesses with an existing IT team or provider and a decision maker who wants clearer oversight. The standard scope typically suits 10–100 staff, up to five critical services and three principal IT suppliers.
How it works
- Establish the baseline.
We agree the scope, owners, reporting information and monthly calendar, then organise the initial management records.
- Review and decide.
Each month we review agreed information, clarify provider updates and discuss priorities with leadership.
- Keep actions visible.
Your brief, registers and roadmap record decisions, owners and the next steps. The quarterly agenda refreshes the forward plan.
Frequently asked questions
Can you work with our IT provider?
Yes. We agree the responsibility split and use a scheduled discussion to clarify important service and action updates.
Does the package include IT support?
The reference service provides scheduled advisory oversight. Helpdesk, device faults, technical operations and implementation are separately scoped.
What is included in the monthly fee?
Leadership and nominated provider/contact discussions, the management brief, updated records and roadmap, and bounded questions within eight direct advisory hours.
Do we need a Health Check first?
Not necessarily. We can use suitable existing records. Where a technical baseline is missing, additional assessment is separately agreed rather than assumed to be included in onboarding.
Will you manage suppliers for us?
We can review responsibilities, issues and decisions and join agreed discussions. Procurement authority, contract signatures and broader supplier management require explicit scope and client authority.
Can we ask urgent support questions?
Urgent faults and suspected incidents should use your operational support or incident-response route. Advisory work follows the agreed coverage and calendar.
What if we need more work in a month?
We agree priorities and discuss deferral, a larger scope or a separate project before extra work is performed. Unused hours do not accumulate as a project bank.
Will you guarantee savings or security?
No. We provide recommendations and clearer oversight using the agreed information. Outcomes depend on evidence, decisions and subsequent action.
How long are we committed?
The proposed launch agreement is monthly with 30 calendar days' written notice, subject to the final terms. A 90-day roadmap is a planning horizon rather than a hidden minimum term.
What happens if we stop?
We provide current records and open priorities, confirm owners and remove temporary access. Extensive transition work can be scoped separately.
